Avimetal’s Rotating Electrowinning System is a compact precious-metal recovery system designed to recover gold, silver, platinum, rhodium, and other valuable metals from mining, jewelry, e-waste, photographic, and industrial waste solutions. The system uses a rotating cathode design for efficient metal deposition, easy metal removal, and reduced downtime, while delivering up to 99.8% purity. It is modular and scalable from 1 to 8 cells, with low-voltage operation, low energy consumption, and strong recovery performance for cleaner, more efficient metal recovery.

How This Differs from the Cyclone Electrowinning System AVEW
The Rotating EW AVRE is optimized for secondary recovery and waste-stream processing, including plating baths, drag-out, jewelry stripping liquor, photographic waste, and e-waste leachates where solutions are dilute, variable, or chemically aggressive. The Cyclone EW AVEW is built for primary mining leach solutions at industrial scale. Many refineries operate both systems: AVEW for the bulk gold / silver leach circuit, and AVRE for polishing tails, recovering plating drag-out, and processing recycled feedstocks.
Model Configurations — Single-Module Production Capacity
All cells operate at 4.5 V DC, 150 A each. Add cells to scale current and metal-deposition rate in 150 A / 0.68 kW increments. A single AVRE module supports 1 to 8 cells, and multiple modules can be deployed in parallel for higher throughput.
