Avimetal’s Hydrogen Plasma Refining (HPR) Technology is a low-temperature metallurgical refining system that recovers and purifies metals using proprietary non-thermal hydrogen plasma. A DC-pulsed electrical discharge ionizes hydrogen gas to create a highly reactive reducing environment that strips impurities and refines metal feedstock at a fraction of the energy of conventional pyrometallurgical processes. The refined product stream is then routed to a pH-controlled separation stage that selectively recovers iron, base metals, precious metals, and rare earth elements. HPR is suited to metal recycling, ore concentrate processing, industrial refining, and R&D applications, delivering lower energy consumption, high recovery rates, and cleaner, lower-emission operation.
