The Integrated EW System Process Proposal presents a modular recovery system for extracting critical metals such as germanium, indium, tellurium, antimony, gallium, and hafnium from zinc sulfate process streams and metal-rich cake. The process includes zinc sulfate cleaner treatment, nitric acid leaching of 8 tons per hour of cake, solar-assisted steam heating and drying, filtration, and cyclone electrowinning cells. The system is designed to improve metal recovery, reduce energy cost through solar thermal integration, clean the zinc sulfate solution, and create additional value from high-premium critical metals.
