Avimetal’s Next-Generation Cyclone Electrowinning System is a metal recovery technology that combines centrifugal cyclone flow with electrowinning to improve mass transfer, current efficiency, and metal deposition speed. The system recovers gold, silver, platinum group metals, copper, zinc, and other non-ferrous metals from leach or pregnant solutions using components such as graphene-coated electrodes, titanium cathode cylinders, iridium-coated MMC anodes, and closed-loop electrolyte circulation. It is designed for scalable operation from 100 mm laboratory cells to 250 mm high-capacity industrial cells, offering faster recovery, lower energy use, corrosion resistance, reduced waste, and modular expansion up to larger multi-cell systems.
