Dry Concentration by Electrostatic Separation Technologies
Ore concentration by electrostatic separation is a process that uses electrical charges to separate minerals in an ore. This process can be used to separate minerals such as cassiterite, rutile, zircon and ilmenite from their ores.
In this process, the ore is first crushed and ground to a fine powder. The powdered ore is then fed onto a moving belt that carries it over a roller that is charged with static electricity. The roller imparts a positive charge to the particles of the mineral to be separated, and these charged particles are attracted to a negatively charged plate or drum placed on the other side of the moving belt.
As the mineral particles are attracted to the negatively charged plate, they are separated from the rest of the ore, which is not charged. The separated minerals are then collected and further processed.
Electrostatic separation is often used in mineral processing plants to separate valuable minerals from gangue minerals or unwanted materials. It can be an efficient and cost-effective way to concentrate minerals, especially those that have different electrical conductivity properties. However, it is important to note that electrostatic separation may not be effective for all types of minerals and ores, and other concentration methods may need to be used in combination with electrostatic separation.

An electrostatic separator is a device for separating particles by mass in a low energy charged beam. It works on the principle of corona discharge, where two plates are placed close together and high voltage is applied. This high voltage is used to separate the ionized particles. Electrostatic separation is a process that uses electrostatic charges to separate crushed particles of material. This process can help remove valuable material from ore. Generally, electrostatic charges are used to attract or repel differently charged material.

Our low costs electrostatic separators which are combination of roller type and belt type superiors. Eight pairs of plate are vertically positioned, and 1 pairs of roller are in the system. Advantage of this system compared to competitors are compact size, low sales price, ability of separating micron size, large production capacity and using low power.
